He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Alyse (Paul); his parents, Richard Carpenter and Annetta Carpenter; his wife Diane; his daughters, Aimee (Phil) and Andrea (Lewis); and his grandchildren, Sequoya (Blake), Cadyn, Cody, Peyton, Addison and Lucas.
