He is survived by: his former wife Lieutenant Donna Davis; his wife Donna Hammel; his sons, Damien (Grant), Bill, Chris and Jim (Dan); his grandchildren, Amber Pettegrew, Melissa Klingsheim, Matthew Hammel and Sarah Jimenez; and his nieces, Karin Galaviz, Charlotte Panaggio and Joyce Chacich. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; many cherished friends.
