It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Forrest Edward Bennett of Yorba Linda, California, born in Conneaut, Ohio, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son James Bennett. He is survived by: his children, William Bennett of Fullerton, Barbara Blumenthal (Mike) of Princeton and Thomas Bennett; his grandson Dillon Bennett of Corona, CA; his son Michael Blumenthal (Estee); his great grandchild Noah James Blumenthal of Washington, DC.; and his wife Nancy Guild.

Ed assumed leadership roles in a wide range of community organizations, including Cosmopolitan International, American Diabetes Association, Placentia Little League, Morse Elementary PTA, Valencia High School Boosters, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and many others Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of Ed's life will be planned at a later date.

In Ed's memory donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, or any charity that donors choose.
