He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Kenneth Hutson and Pearl Agnes Hutson; his sister Dorthy Marie Hutson (Cornwell); and his wife Alice Mae Hutson. He is survived by: his son Steven Kenneth Hutson; and his daughter-in-law Beverly Ann Hutson. He is also survived by three grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, twelve great, great grandchildren, and generations of nieces and nephews.
