He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Elaine Kloiber Milkey and Walter Fred Milkey of New Britain, Conn.. He is survived by: his wife Evie Wright of Woodland; his brother Kevin Milkey (Jeanne) of St. Pete Beach; his son Jackson; his sister Ann Hudock (Chris) of Denver; his nephews, Owen and Ethan; his sister Jane Jensen (Chris) of Denver; his nieces and nephews, Luke and Ryan; his stepmother Martha Milkey; and also, John Darrow of Denver, Kristine Wright of Fallbrook, Adam Wright of Davis, Peter Wright (Kimberly) of Davis, Anthony, Isabella, Susan Vaziri, Freddie of Davis, Kindred and Peregrine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steve Wright's name to one of two causes dear to his heart: Blue Water Foundation, which teaches sailing to under-served youths.
