He is survived by: his wife Betty Bender Betbeze; his sister Mary Elizabeth; and his children, Melanie Lloyd (Preston), Joseph G. Betbeze, Jr. (Laura), James Timothy Betbeze (Rhonda), Shawn Leigh Betbeze, John Bender Betbeze, Sr. (Kim), Corinne Lovell (LeVan) and Jaime William Betbeze (Sydney). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
