He is survived by: his sister Kathleen; his son Mike Bessel (Brenda); his grandchildren, Bryce, Ashlie, Melissa, Kelsie, Katelyn and Chris; his great grandchildren, Delilah and Willow; his grandchildren, Cody and Kyle; and also, Kesty Schmidthans (Bessel) and Brian.
