He was predeceased by: his parents, Poy Bennett and Bonnie Bennett; and his brother Kenneth Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Terry Bennett; his children, Whitney Shumaker (Robert Shumaker), Courtney Bennett-Thiers (Michael Thiers), Jaynell Steadman (Wade Steadman) and Kevin Kanzler; his grandchildren, Lauren Willer (Kurt Willer), Lindsey Shamberger, Hunter Thiers and Kaitlyn Kanzler; and his brothers, Gary Bennett and Warren Bennett (Alice Bennett). He is also survived by husband, father and friend.
