He was predeceased by: his parents, Verl Shaull and Georgia Shaull; and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughter Jyll (Bill); his grandchildren, Peter (Hannah), Alina, Wyatt, Valkyrie and Charlie; his great grandchildren, Finn and Miles; and his brother Val Shaull (Linda).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Oregon State Marching Band or Cascade Horizon Band in Bend, OR.
