He is survived by: his parents, Marion Ray and Sarah Ball (Billie); his wife Herta Ball; his sisters, Nadine Iott and Marilee Van Delson; his sons, Ted Ball (Dianna) and Thomas Ball; and his granddaughter Stephanie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, to make donations to Northern California Wounded Warriors or American Lutheran Church in Woodland.
