He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J Reis and Zulah M. [Creager] Reis of Perrysburg, Ohio.; his wife Alice Reis; and his siblings, Virginia Reis, Marcella [Reis] MacLerran, Frank, Raymond and Kenton Reis.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Elinor [Kenton] Reis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a step-grandson.
