He was predeceased by: his nephew Max; and also Joy. He is survived by: his parents, Alice Carlson and Paul Carlson; his sisters, Barbara Kingsbury (Tim) and Gail Carlson; his children, Steven Carlson (Colleen) and Raichel Lickver (Sean); and his grandchildren, Jacoby, Amanda, Michael and Rylee.

Donations in Doug's honor can be made to the Hirschberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
