She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Avilez and Mary Louisa Avilez; and her siblings, Mary Rachel Rodriguez, Tomas, Louie and Joe Avilez.
She is survived by: her daughter Veronica Martinez (Arthur Martinez); her grandsons, Ricky James and Vincent Rey; her great grandchildren, Isaiah James and Ricky James Jr.; and her sisters, Victoria Avilez, Gloria Rodriguez (Eusebio Rodriguez), Helen Avilez and Sylvia Avilez. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
