He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Carper and Lavon Carper (DeLong); and his sisters, Wava Collins (Hagan) and Delores Shull (Roger). He is survived by: his daughter Julie West; his grandchildren, Christian of Powell, Ohio, Marshal of Powell, Ohio and Shaeleigh West of Powell, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Rick Shull (Carolyn), Dennis Collins of Auburn, IN, Terry Collins, Tammy Collins Crosby of Angola, IN and Roger Shull of Edgerton, Ohio; and his pet Spike. He is also survived by nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
