He was predeceased by: his spouse Tomi Yamamoto; and his brothers, Tots Yamamoto and Yosh Yamamoto. He is survived by: his friend Sam; his children, Mary Ann Evanko (Yamamoto) and Jim Yamamoto; his siblings, Tom Yamamoto and Toy Hatanaka; and his grandchildren, Randy Leal and Tyler Yamamoto.
