She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Flores and Maximina Flores; her husband Gilbert Lara; and her siblings, Salvador Flores, Guadalupe Flores, Jose of Jesus Flores, Mercedes Hinojosa and Manuelita Flores.

She is survived by: her son Emery Lara (Diana); her siblings, Cita Flores, Javier Flores, Josefina Berumen and Martha Perez; her stepgranddaughter Anissa Patrick; and her great grandchildren, Mariah Evanoski (Eric), Miranda Giron and Mariana Giron. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
