He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Hansen and Geneva Hansen; his stepson Jarrett Andrew; and his brothers, Theodore (Ted) and Donald.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Ownbey; his stepchildren, Kara Jill and Lindsay Chase; his wife Mary Gaffney; his children, Elisa Kathleen (Ryan), Joseph Luther and Phoebe Kristian; his foster children, Julia Estrada and Guadalupe Mancinas; his daughters, Kara Barringer (Rodney) and Lindsay Woltz (Ben); his grandchildren, Parker Hansen, Lily Sinks, Cooper Woltz, Caiden and Cru Shoup; his sister-in-law Roberta Hansen; and his nephews, Kerry and Kurt Hansen (Jan).
