He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Brown Ames and Violet Hazel Burger (Irene); his former wife Janet Ames; his wife Reva Eudy; his sister Barbara Beasley; and his stepson Robert Fields Ames (Billy).
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Ames (Nick Gisotti) of Mission Viejo, California; his aunt Lorraine Wright of Long Beach, California; his stepchildren, Roberta Schamel (Ed) of Longview, Patty Worel (Brad) of Castle Rock, Washington and Joe Mawae (Kris) of Longview, Washington; and his nephew Martin McDermott (Sabrina) of Battleground, Washington. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Steele Chapel (5050 Mt Solo Rd, Longview, WA 98632). A burial will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
