She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Shigeru Okuma and Sen Okuma; her spouse Manch Uyesugi (Tak); her children, Dennis Uyesugi (Jeanne), Eileen Mitsueda and Lori Katayama (David); her grandchildren, Brian Uyesugi (Maria), Allison Combahee (Thomas), Heather Guerrero (Aldrine), Danielle Kou (Jimmy) and Aaron Katayama; her great grandchildren, Mika, Kaida, Darren, Elle and Grayson; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Uyesugi, Sachi Uyesugi, Aya Okuma and Yuki Okuma. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
