He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman Luymes and Margaret Schutz Luymes; his brother Ted; his wife Joanne Tyler; and his children, Joanell Rawlins (Mike), Karen White (Rod) and Ted Luymes (Annette). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.

He was 87 years young, but Covid-19 claimed his life.
