He is survived by: his wife Ann Steinruck; and his daughters, Joan Norton of Yuba City, Patricia "Tish" Stevenson of Grand Rapids and Elizabeth "Liz" McGarry of Fort Collins. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Mary Health of the Sick, 2929 Theresa Drive, Newberry Park, California, 91320.
