He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; and his son Phillip Lee. He is survived by: his former wives, Carolyn and Norma; his children, Jim (Sharon), Tracey (Russ Olsen), Jane (Ken Follett), Toni (Tom Smith) and Katie (Jason Allen); and also, Mark Smith and Steven Smith (Patty). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
