He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Rusk and Helen Rusk; his wife Mary; his daughter Leslie Doreen Rusk; and his brother Adrian Rusk.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Rusk (Michelle), Carol Johnson (Rodger) and Kristie Rusk; his granddaughters, Stephanie Roberts and Megan Shoop (Mike); his great grandchild Shawn Roberts; and his brother John Rusk. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
