The memory of Alice Yoko Sakamoto of West Los Angeles, California, who passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kiyoshi Shinohara and Kinu "Yamane" Shinohara; her husband Paul Sakamoto; and her siblings, Misao, June, Tetsuo, Francis, Kenji, Sachiko, Grace, Toshiko and Tatsumi.

She is survived by: her children, Owen Onouye (Donna Kelly), Eric Onouye and Sandi Snyder; her stepchildren, Sandy Sakamoto (Nolan Maehara) and Scott Sakamoto (Lori Petitti); and her sister Betty Kiyono (Buster) of San Diego. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
