“To the family and friends of Nelson Pasion Mutuc, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I do not know Nelson Mutuc, but I do understand the pain that family and friends feel when someone they love dies. This is why I want to share a comforting message. You may have wondered at some point when a human expires, where is he? And, if a man dies, can he live again? Those 2 questions were also asked in God's word, the bible. In the bible, the book of Job, chapter 14, those 2 questions were also asked. In the bible, at Job 14, verse 10, the man Job asked "When a human expires, where is he?" and then in verse 14, Job also wondered "If a man dies, can he live again?". First, the bible answers both questions, and the answers are comforting to know. While we know that given time, we all know we will face death, it's different for our dead loved ones, "but the dead know nothing at all" says the bible at Ecclesiastes, chapter 9, verse 5. So dead people are completely unconscious because the dead "know nothing at all". Second, the dead's condition will change, they will be resurrected back to life, says the bible. In the bible, in the book of Acts, chapter 24, verse 15, a part of that verse explains "that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". So our dead loved ones will come back to a new life. Where? And to what kind of life? In the bible, in the book of Psalm 37, verse 29 explains that righteous people "will live forever" here on earth. Does this sound comforting to you, knowing that you can welcome back your loved ones when they live again? Would you like to learn more? Then please read your bible. In those verses you will read about the event of how Jesus resurrected a man who died, back to his family and friends.
