He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Frank Kolda and Laura Mae Kolda (Metcalf); his wife Maureen Roberta Kolda; his siblings, James Kolda (Bill), Joseph Kolda, Vinette Frasier (Kolda) and Josephine Kolda; and his children-in-law, Susan Figgemeier and Louis Castello.
He is survived by: his brother Frank; and his children, Steve (Mary Anne), Mary Castello, Richard Kolda (Kim), Catherine Strommen (Curt), Theresa Poole (Robert), Peter Kolda (Marie) and John Kolda (Chrissy). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and soon-to-be 31 great-grandchildren.
