She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Villalpando and Maria Villalpando; her husband Jose Vargas; and her granddaughter Lydia Vargas. She is survived by: her children, Carlos Vargas (Patty), Eddie Vargas (Monica), Rosa Flores (Jose), Joey Vargas (Sylvia) and Art Vargas. She is also survived by her 4 brothers and her sister, her 11 grandchildren, 6 grandchildren-in-love, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.
