She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Murray Wood and Katherine Toomey Wood; her husband Thad James DeHart; her sons, James Edwin Bruce "Jeb" DeHart and Thad Matthew DeHart; and her grandson George Herbert Hale III.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine DeHart Hale, Julie Criswell (Harry) and Joseph DeHart; her grandchildren, Thad Hale, Sarah Russell, Laura Russell and Anna Criswell; and her great grandchildren, Marley Stonebrook, Dahlia Stonebrook and Rhea Stonebrook.
In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels for Santa Cruz County, to Mount Holyoke College, to the Watsonville Woman's Club Foundation, or to any charity.
