We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2018, at the age of 86, Rafael J. Velez (Watsonville, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Arcelia; and his parents, Isidora Bouche and Jose Bouche. He is survived by: his children, Guadalupe Albo, Martha Tapia (Bonifacio), Victor Velez (Nancy) and Isidora Lopez (Antonio). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren with two proudly serving in the US Marines and the US Navy, and seven great grandchildren.

He fought a long battle with Alzheimer's.
