She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Eugene and Edna Dorothy Smith (Hackett). She is survived by: her sons, Mike Welch (Cindy) and Tim Welch (Carolyn); her stepdaughters, JoLynn Lords and Vicki Minor; her grandchildren, Johna Simon, Patrick Welch (Jerri Barker), Austin Welch (Rachel), Ashley Welch Martin, Tod Lords (Danette) and Burk Minor; and her sister Claire S. Dosier. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
