She was predeceased by: her husband Jose G. Martin; her brother Ignacio "Nacho" Chairez; and her parents, Marcelo Chairez and Dolores Hernandez Chairez. She is survived by: her children, Eladio "Lalo" Martin (Amy) and Veronica Barrios (Ted); her grandchildren, Mychael, Christian, Marcel, Dante and Gabriel; and her sister Agueda Chairez Ricarte (late Genaro). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mehl's Colonial Chapel (222 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (2401 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley Public Cemetery (2445 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076).
