He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar and Lolita Orey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rose Orey of Pioneer, CA; his daughters, Breanne Rose Orey of Colorado Springs, CO and Jenahvieve Iris Orey of Pioneer, CA; his siblings, Annalyn (Dave Trayer), Sheila (Steve Sorensen) and Dale Orey of Carmel, CA; his mother-in-law Jackie (Phil Machado); and his brother Daniel Wade Orey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and additional extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Amador STARS who provide free services to local cancer patients.
