She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fogarty and Mary Fogarty; and her brother Joe Fogarty. She is survived by: her husband John Ruso; her daughters, Julie Scurich (Tony), Lori Ruso and Anna Turk; her grandchildren, Jeff, Megan, Scott Scurich and Michelle Weiner; her sisters, Judy Moore (John) and Marianne Mazotti (Bill); and also, Joseph and Mary Fogarty. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Towards the end, Alzheimer's had taken away many of Kay's memories but she always lit up with a smile when John was close and knew his name until the end.
