He is survived by: his wife Teresa Maciel of Gonzalez; and his children, Joaquín (Quin), Graciela (Gracie), Joseantonio (Peps), Teresa (Terry), Jaime and Eddie. He is also survived by grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
