It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elena Maldonado Rodriguez of Watsonville, California, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Rodriguez and Maria of Jesus Lopez; her husband Francisco Maldonado; and her siblings, Maria, Elodia, Juana, Anita, Lucina and Vicente.
She is survived by: her children, Alicia Ramirez, Francisco Maldonado Jr., Maria Elena Maldonado, Jose Luis Maldonado, Rosa Maldonado and Arturo Maldonado; and her sisters, Catalina Frausto and Delfina Rodriguez. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
