He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna and George; his brothers, Tony, Panagiotis and Tasos; his significant other Eleni; his daughters, Anna Petroutsas and Sophie Petroutsas-Pateras (Panagos); his grandchildren, Costas Hadjipateras (Shawna), Calliopi Hadjipateras, Irini and Eleni Pateras; and his nieces and nephews, Anna Babiolakis, Bessie, George Petroutsas, Stelios and Tasos Doukas.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his honor to the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church.
