We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2021, at the age of 90, Aurelia Ramirez of Watsonville, California, born in Superior, Arizona passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Soto and Sarah Soto; her husband John G. Ramirez; her son John S. Ramirez (U. S. Navy Guam); and her siblings, Henry Soto, Albert Vega, Edward Vega, Francisca Ballesteros and Alice Ballesteros.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse S. Ramirez (Maria) of Rancho Cordova, Joseph S. Ramirez (Patricia) of Watsonville and Mary V. Valdez (Ruben) of Modesto; her brother Ruben Soto of Arizona; and her grandchildren, Monica Turner, Anthony Ramirez, Joey Ramirez, Mario Ramirez, Anyalisa Edmondson, Anthony Valdez, Ruben Valdez Jr., Leanne Valdez, Veronica Ramirez and Aurelia Perez. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
