She is survived by: her husband Louis Charles Schemmel; her sister Ruth Gresham Bedingfield; her daughters, Lou Ann Schemmel, Diane Schemmel Goostree, Nancy Schemmel Whitney and Patricia Schemmel Terry; and her grandchildren, Levi Sternberg, Jeremy Sternberg, Jonathan Schemmel Goostree and Emily Gresham Terry. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother.
