She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Elvira (Bierbaum) and Fredrick John George Garberding; and her siblings, Lloyd, William, Kenneth, George, Jean, MaryLou and Lois.
She is survived by: her children, Linda M. Gregg, Jack D. Myers and Patricia L. Scovil; her grandchildren, Robert M. Gregg Jr., Jenniffer L. Gregg, Kimberley A. Myers, Nicole Myers and Geneva J. Orlando; and her husband Steven Sledz. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
