He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar True Heywood and Clara Fulton Syrett; his siblings, Edgar Keith Heywood and Clara Louise Ott; his great grandchild Phineas John Heywood; and his son David Keith Heywood.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Lorraine Padelford Heywood; his brother Joseph Frederick Heywood; and his children, Robert Fred Heywood, Rebecca Kay Bean, Carlton True Heywood, Valerie Ann McDonough and Chrystal Lea Bair. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
