She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha McWhorter and Newton McWhorter; her siblings, Darriel McWhorter and Ellen Sullivan; and her great grandchild Weston Kittle.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth McCormick; her children, Tina Hill (Shayne), Kenny McCormick (Sherri) and Gayla Swope (Ken); and her brother Charles Thomas McWhorter (Mary). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews who called her "auntie" Mom.
