He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Josefina Reynoso Casillas; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Mercado Zamora (Jose Zamora), Hugo Mercado (Elena Mercado, Josephine) and Bertha Mercado Singleton (David Singleton, Humberto); his great grandchildren, Isaac, Sophia, Diego, Sarah, Lucas, Kristina, Brianna, Matthew, David, Erica, Cassie, Alexandra and Adrian; his wife Felipa Mercado; his parent Leopoldo Mercado; his daughter Josefina Mercado; and his siblings, Daniel Mercado, Leopoldo Mercado, Guadalupe Mercado, María Dolores Gutierrez and Maria Del Refugio Mercado.
