She is survived by: her sisters, Lily Kikau, Sue Dummer, Mary Louise Neff "Darling", Theresa Akin "Tita", Charlotte Ahnee "Melotootsie" and Sheila Ann Decker "Fatso"; her parents, Mary Naomi Kawelo-Thomas and Lawrence Beamon Thomas Sr; and her brothers, Lawrence Beamon Thomas Jr., Sonny Boy and James Henry Thomas Sr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
