With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Folger Herb (Walnut Creek, California), born in Oakland, California, who passed away on September 1, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jim Bugbee, Bill Bugbee, Debra Hutton and Erin Wolf; his grandchildren, Averil Spencer, Mackenzie Makepeace, Pierce Spencer and Seth Hutton; his brother Michael D. Herb; and his nieces and nephews, Debby Hu, Rick Herb and Katy Whitman.
In lieu of flowers, Peter wanted to be remembered by donations to the Fisher House Foundation, Rockville, MD or the University of California Athletic Department.
