She was predeceased by: her father Galen Avery Rowell; and her grandparents, Margaret Avery Rowell, Alberta Chevez, Edward Z. Rowell and Benjamin Chevez.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Ryan; her sons, Forrest Avery Ryan and Colby Dustin Ryan; her mother Carol Chevez Rowell; and her brother Edward Anthony "Tony" Rowell.
In lieu of flowers a donation in Nicole's name can be made to Make A Wish Sacramento, Amador Cancer Research Foundation – Christine and Helen Landgraf Memorial Research Award, or the Rowell Fund for Tibet.
