He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fitzsimmons and Anne Fitzsimmons; and his former wife Nora Patricia. He is survived by: his son Joe Fitzsimmons Jr. John (Marcie); his sister Nancy Fitzsimmons; and his granddaughters, Kasey, Molly, Gabrielle and Olivia. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and dear friends.
