It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wen-Yu Chai (Walnut Creek, California), who passed away on June 25, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Wen-Yu Chai to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his son Tim Chai. He is survived by: his wife Mei Chai; his children, Wayne Chai (Audra), Christine Kelly (Mike) and Doris Ahlsten (Todd); and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Chai. He is also survived by grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory can be made to the Formosan United Methodist Church.
