He is survived by: his wife Marjorie A. Newton; his son Ted W. Newton; his grandchildren, Elizabeth John, Nicholas John of Chico, Alicia, Shelby and Zachary of Concord; his great grandchild Jaiden Brennan; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Schouten (Nancy) of Butte City and Betty Newton Liden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
