It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Seferino Garcia Amaya of Visalia, California, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Juan M. Amaya and Angela G. Amaya; his daughter Martha Amaya; and his siblings, Federico Amaya, Paula Amaya, Lydia Amaya and Noemi Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his children, Richard V. Amaya of Visalia, CA. and Gloria Stephanie; his son-in-law Abel Barajas of Bakersfield, CA.; his daughter Esther Juliana; his son-in-law Octavio Ortiz of Porterville, CA.; his grandchildren, Alena Barajas, Geminiah Barajas, Jeremiah Barajas, Ebella Ortiz, Evangelique Ortiz, Cash Ortiz, Kennedy Amaya and Luke Amaya; his great grandchildren, Liam C. Barajas and Lincoln C. Barajas; his brother-in-law Cruz (Joe Cardona); his brothers, Jose Amaya of Los Angeles, CA. and Bernardo; his sister-in-law Carmen Amaya of Salinas, CA.; his sister Esther; his brother-in-law Frank Cisneros of Visalia, CA.; his brother Juan; his sister-in-law Maria Amaya of Fort Smith, AR.; his sister Angie; and his brother-in-law Paul Morfin of Charlotte, NC..
Not to mention, Seferino loved to donate to various charities that were involved with helping veterans, including Help Heal Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Faith and Freedom Coalition just to name a few.
