He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Smith and Othella Smith; and his brothers, Elza Smith and Lee Roy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith; his daughters, Diana Threadgill, Dawna Noriega and Dori Bingaman; his sons-in-law, John Threadgill Jr., Lee Noriega and Sam Bingaman; his grandchildren, Ashlee Sanchez, Kaitlyn Rios, Emily Doering, Hannah Smith, John Threadgill III, Joel Bingaman, Carter Bingaman and Autumn Bingaman; and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Wilson, Wyatt Sanchez, Hudsyn Sanchez, Remington Sanchez and Leighton Sanchez.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Elk's Lodge #1298 (3100 W Main St, Visalia, CA 93291).
